When Windows XP or 7 clients connect they initally fail to connect.
Apparently this is a fairly common problem with XP, as there is a lot of discussion about this across the Internet..header_background_full .header_background_slim .welcome-container .wlc-header .wlc-content .linksys-search-form .If not then please send me the log below from the machine in question but run the tool when the machine is in range of your router and says it is connected and all of that jive. I got it fixed, using some advice from another forum ( ), the details of which I will paste below. It was a very easy fix, after all the time I wasted.... Hope it helps: Another possibility for anyone else out there who happens to find this thread while searching for problems is that the Laptop if its old enough and running windows XP, does not have the ability to recognize the WPA2 security protocols, which if a new router is installed, is probably the security the network has.Moderators are not employees or representatives of HWZ.
